#31: Poke golf ball on a guitar

Gotta catch them all. So, the other night I had some time, a camera and some golf balls. One thing led to another and you'll see the outcome of this unholy union in the next posts.

#30: Golf balls on the sand with reverse hats

I took many photos on the beach that day. Probably I won't publish all of them though. I should get some more material, I guess. I will. I already have a lot.

#29: A golf ball on a metal ball

We're still in Deauville. This is the marine near the train station. I like how the golf balls can be steady on surfaces like this metal ball.

Here you can see the marine better, with all the boats parked neatly. I don't know if you can park a boat, but here we are anyway.

#28: Golf balls with tiny shell hats

On the beach of Deauville, I had some time to screw around with balls and seashells, two of my favorite subjects, the new and the old one. And I did.

#27: A golf ball and a snail

During the same night walk, I met this snail struggling to climb a little wall and I just had to take a photo with it. And a golf ball too. Obviously.

While I was trying to take a better angle, the snail escaped in full speed. It didn't even leave me a minute. What was the rush anyway?

#26: Golf balls take a night walk in Courbevoie

So, a few nights ago, I took a short walk around the neighborhood. It was dawning, as the dark blue sky can tell us. Whenever I had tolerable light and somewhere to put the balls, I would do it.

This is Courbevoie by night. I love peaceful walks like that in the middle of the night in summer.

#25: Three golf balls in the sand

At the plage of Deauville, there was a strip of sand which was a bit smooth, so I decided to ruin it. That's some nice ruining, isn't it?

#24: Golf ball with a hat on the sand

Now this is a photo that I like very much. It's also an important message. When you go to the beach, make sure to wear a hat for protection.

We're still in Deauville.

#23: Golf balls at the marine of Deauville

At the marine, in Deauville. For the second time in a row, this is a two-photo post. In the next one, the golf balls are off focus. I hope you don't mind.

The picturesque town on the background is Trouville.

#22: Golf balls on a bench

We're still at the same spot as the previous two posts. Of course it's not visible, because I'm closing up to the golf balls, but it's a fun fact for you to have in mind while admiring the photo. Or, to say it better, the photos:

#21: Golf balls and a Deauville landmark

At the corner of rue Desirée Le Hoc and avenue de la Republique, in Deauville, there is this column. Here are three golf balls posing on it.

#20: Golf balls on artificial grass

This was taken in Deauville (like the previous and many of the next ones), at the beginning of avenue de la Republique, outside a corner store with furniture etc.

#19: Golf balls on some grass

The first photo of Golf Ball Adventures taken with a DSLR camera. The phone camera is not bad, but the comparison is a bit unfair.

#17: Golf balls at the dog toilet again

The depth of field of the phone is quite interesting. Sure, it doesn't compare to a DSLR, but you can still take a few shots. Soon I'll have DSLR photos with the golf balls. It will get interesting.

#16: Golf balls as hostel guests

In The Loft Hostel, at the reception, there is a map of the area around. It was hand made and it's extremely useful when we want to help people find stuff they look for. It looks even better with three golf balls on it.

#15: Golf balls on a wooden fence

Actually, this is not a fence. It's a dog toilet. So I tried well enough to avoid having to edit out anything that shouldn't be on the photo. I think I managed well.

#14: Golf balls on the edge

Back to that big pot with the tree in it. The balls look very cool on it, don't they?

And here they are again, only that the focus is on the first ball.

#13: Golf ball tips

I don't know how many people would be excited to receive golf balls as tips. I know I would.

#11: Golf balls off a tree

At La Defense, there are some big wooden pots with trees in them. A good chance for a few photos.

#10: Golf balls at La Defense

On Sunday morning, there are very few people at La Defense, if any. So I had the opportunity to take this photo, which I like enormously.

And here, with the golf balls out of focus.

#9: Golf balls in the metro

I was in Paris metro line 2 on a Sunday morning, around 7:30. I had an empty seat in front of me, so I kept it occupied until the next station.

#7: Cereal golf balls

There's a pattern with golf balls served as food, right? Well, it will stop soon. This is from the same night shift at The Loft Hostel, in Belleville, Paris.

Golf Ball Adventures: Introduction

So, on the 30th of June, 2015, I happened to work at a place in a golf course. And I realized that golf balls fascinate me. They are quite heavy, full of little holes and they make some cool photos.

So I decided right on the spot to make a blog dedicated to golf balls. It was not possible to grab some of the used spare balls right there, so I went and bought a box of 12. And I intend to publish one photo every day.

I have numerous ideas. As usual, maybe this project will be abandoned too, like others in the past. But maybe not this time. We're about to find out.
